InterBrush 2020 Postponed Until 2022
As A Result Of Coronavirus (COVID-19)

InterBrush

Due to the global outbreak of coronavirus (COVID-19), InterBrush 2020 —
the international brush, broom, mop, paint roller and related industry trade fair held
every four years in Freiburg, Germany — has been postponed.

Originally set for May 6-8, 2020, the event has been rescheduled for May 2022.
A specific date has not been announced. The news was reported on March 13 by
the event’s organizer, Messe Freiburg.

“In response to the rising number of persons infected with coronavirus (COVID-19)
in Europe and worldwide, Messe Freiburg has decided to postpone the leading
international trade fair,” according to a Messe Freiburg press release. “The health of the exhibitors, visitors and employees, as well as Freiburg’s inhabitants, are of the highest priority for Messe Freiburg. Under the prevailing circumstances, it would be impossible to organize such a first-rate international trade fair as InterBrush without critical complications.

“Every four years, (InterBrush) brings together approximately 200 exhibitors,
from 30 countries, and 7,000 visitors, from over 90 countries — a significant number
of whom come from what are currently being designated as high-risk areas. In agreement with the international industry associations, as well as with the leading machinery companies, Messe Freiburg has decided to postpone the event to May 2022. We are working closely with the exhibitors to find a fitting specific date, which will be announced as soon as possible.”

American Brush Manufacturers Association (ABMA) Executive Director David Parr added: “ABMA understands, and supports, the decision taken in regards to the rescheduling of InterBrush to May 2022. It is apparent that worldwide effects of the coronavirus will not be sufficiently settled to guarantee the safety of the thousands of attendees of this event. On behalf of the ABMA board of directors, we look to do our part in helping to make InterBrush 2022 a truly successful event.”

O’Dell Corporation Helps Send 50 4th Graders
To Natural Resource Camp

Shurhold

About 50 Ware Shoals (SC) Primary School fourth graders benefitted from hands-on environmental studies, thanks to the school’s partnership with The O’Dell Corporation.

The students and their chaperones participated in the camp during March. Classes and activities included “Wetlands Or Badlands,” “The Seasons Of Life – A Waterfowl Adventure,” “The Scarecrow And Plow,” “Spineless Wonders,” “Their Blood Runs Cold,” “Human Impact at Camp Leopold,” “Celestial Navigation/Night Walk, The Final Frontier,” a cypress swamp canoe trip, a team challenge course, a scavenger hunt, a campfire and more.

Since 2016, The O’Dell Corporation has sponsored the overnight two-day field trip to Camp Leopold for all fourth grade students at Ware Shoals Primary. The company’s cost is approximately $7,100 a year, depending on the number of students and chaperones attending. School District 51 provides transportation for students and chaperones.

“Through the generosity of The O’Dell Corporation, fourth grade students will experience nature as they never have before,” Dr. Fay Sprouse, District 51 Superintendent said. “Camp Leopold provides environmental education and hands-on science experiences in a natural setting. The late Senator O’Dell was a huge supporter of the programs at Camp Leopold.
I’m grateful that the O’Dell Corporation continues to provide our students this opportunity.”

Located in Pinewood, Camp Leopold was established in 2012 as a “school year”
natural resource conservation and environmental education camp. The camp’s curriculum meets South Carolina and National Education standards for third through seventh graders, using its 410-acre outdoor classroom to allow students to connect with hands-on
experiences with the environment.

Hahl/Perlon Coronavirus Statement 17 March 2020

Perlon

Perlon® produces quality filaments at five sites on three continents for its customers,
and operates a strategy of acting globally, but producing locally, whilst sourcing where possible from local suppliers. In times like this, in which familiar delivery networks have
come to a halt, this strategy is paying dividends. At the time of writing, we can report that
all of our sites are operating normally and at full capacity on fulfilling customer and stock orders. There are currently no supply shortages of our raw materials, nor do we foresee
any in the short term.

We have proactively planned, and are keeping our stock levels high, to enable us to
optimally offset any possible temporary supply disruption of any of our suppliers.

Due to the measures decided by the governments of many countries, global deliveries meanwhile, are likely to slow down. Sea and air freight are particularly effected.
Therefore; the delivery of your goods is likely to be delayed. Our colleagues are in close contact with our haulers to try to keep any impact to a minimum.

Rest assured that Perlon® has taken a great number of appropriate measures to best
protect our employees from contamination at work. Should infection arise, clear instructions have been issued to prevent a spread of infection within the company. Emergency plans for relevant departments have been issued, or will be issued imminently to enable business operations to continue.

If you have any further questions, please get in touch with your regular point of contact in sales or customer service.
