Deco Products
Continues Investment In Robot Technology

Deco Products recently invested further in robots used in its zinc die cast
manufacturing process.

“At Deco Products, it is our first collaborative robot. Collaborative robots are used in the industry specifically in areas where people work. Collaborative robots are safe to work around humans because of special sensors that recognize when it has made contact with a human or an object foreign to itself. Another safety adaptation of collaborative robots is the speed. Collaborative robots, unlike the industrial robots used in our plant, are run at a speed that is slow and controlled,” according to a company release.

Tanis

“An alternative to a collaborative robot is an industrial robot. Deco Products has industrial robots that are used in a large part of zinc die cast manufacturing. Industrial robots are secured in a cage, keeping them out of human way to prevent injuries. Industrial robots
work by recognizing a part, grasping the part, trimming the part, properly discarding the scrap, and placing the manufactured part in the appropriate location. This allows production associates and machine operators to focus on the production of other parts, thus speeding up production.”

Deco Products said its intent is to use the collaborative robot for buffing zinc die cast parts, which holds sharp edges after being trimmed.

"This will be our first robot used outside a cage, and alongside our production associates. Deco Product’s collaborative robot will be used for exactly as its name says, ‘a collaboration with our production associates for producing consistent high quality parts.’”

Deco Products has been a “Made in USA” zinc die casting manufacturer since 1960.
The company provides service and quality products for a multitude of industries including custom precision engineered zinc die casting, powder coating, assembly, CNC Machining, and DFM-Part Design.

"Deco has been a stable and reliable supplier to the industry and continuously
strives for being the best value for its key partners/customers.”

From Shurhold,
For Stubborn Stains, Use Moldaway

Wherever there's moisture, there's the probability of mold and mildew. Traditional cleaning methods rely on bleach or chlorine, but those can ruin fabrics and damage fiberglass, paint and other hard surfaces. The safe alternative is Moldaway from Shurhold. Effective on a wide range of materials, it powerfully removes stains and keeps funguses from regrowing.

Malish

Made in the USA, Moldaway is a powdered oxygenated cleaner that becomes active
when added to water. Scientifically formulated, it won't leave a residue behind like bleach
and other harsh chemicals.

Shurhold Moldaway quickly eliminates mold, mildew and algae; it also removes dirt, blood, food and drink stains. Because it doesn't contain bleach or chlorine, it's safe on fiberglass, paint, vinyl, plastic, carpeting, wood, canvas and most fabrics.

Moldaway is easy to use. One two-tablespoon scoop is poured into a quart of warm water and thoroughly mixed. It's effective for up to 10 hours. The solution is then sponged or brushed onto a cool surface and allowed to stand wet for 10 minutes. For stubborn stains, the mixture can stand longer. Then, it's rinsed with fresh water. Shurhold is dedicated to educating owners on RV value preservation. Inventor of the One Handle Does It All system, Shurhold manufactures specialty care items and accessories to clean, polish and detail.
